I wish I could help you with that I do know DFS works but my group is too small to make much use of it. I used it in the past (2003 both sides) to assist me in a file server migration but it did have issues, like failing under heavy load. Until I need it again I will not be using it we are now on

You can certainly implement DFS without replication. You would simply need to follow your same procedures of backup/restore, copying, etc. when a user moves from one site to another. The other racks that Graybar carries are probably the CPI racks. They're the bees knees. Since it's in a locked room, no need for a locking cabinet with doors and side panels, so go with the (usually) cheaper QuadraRack. The Dell Versa Rail is just for square hole racks, so they don't need screws
