I've some experience with a product made by Datto. A linux box running backup
software with agents on the targets. Can restore from file level to BMR to
VMDK. Can store backup images locally and in the cloud and spin up either as a
VM. Interesting product.

The sending client is sending in RTF. When encoded
into MIME this gets turned into a MIME type of MS-TNEF, which you have stated is
present in the "corrupt" messages. Only an RTF-aware client can unravel this
MS-TNEF encoding. The sender must ensure that he is not sending to a
non-RTF-aware
It's a feature of OfficeXP and is being sent because the person composed the
message in Wordmail and sent it using RTF.
