Another vote for folder redirection. Who wants to wait for roaming profiles to
copy up and down? Folder redirection and plenty of automation with GPP (so
that shortcuts, drive maps, printers etc just work) is the way to go imho.

I would go with what others have suggested and perform the redirection via
GPO of My Documents, with My Pictures following that as a subfolder. I also
redirect Start Menu and Desktop to a shared folder that contains all the
shortcuts that users ever need to use

In some places, roaming profiles make some sense. Schools tend to have
pretty homogonized environments.
Also, they tend to move from place to place (teachers do, too).

Run Malwarebytes on your machines. This was how a major virus outbreak
started on our network, and we're still not completely done with it. ILOMA,B

These are Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows XP Pro
machines.
It is not domain wide yet but I see almost all 10 on most all machines.
