Maybe things have changed...
Here at IBM Rational, we are not using OpenSolaris at all - we are tasked
with making things work on Solaris 10, not OpenSolaris. What external
version of Solaris 10 will have this linker fix, and in what expected
timeframe?

For example : we have a partition say A and threshold is 95% while B have 90%

Attend a OpenSolaris summit or Sun marketing event.
Otherwise, they aren't giving them out as far as I know.

Not surprising because nfsd doesn't do anything much in userspace; it's
all being dealt with inside the kernel so this

Hi all.
I have a boot/install server with b74 installed. I'm trying to install
b76 to a client. I don't know if it's specific to the SUNWlibmsr
package, but the install has been hung there for more then 14 hours:
SUNWproduct-registry-rootdone. 2126.20 Mbytes remaining.

So, most likely this is bug 6595488, the missing
atapi support in the nv_sata driver.

If you're seeing that warning, then you're still running Sun Studio 12
compilers, somehow.

What kind of optical drive do you use?
(P-ATA? S-ATA?, USB?)
What kind of disk controller is used for the optical device?
I use S-ATA everything (very new board) with NVidia NForce controller
So the system boots fine off the SATA Optical drive .. but then can't get back
to the drive to find the

Most likely the Solaris kernel drivers are unable to
"see" the optical drive.
What kind of optical drive do you use?

What kind

Ok, thanks.

That´s good news. For me gdm has a more fancy login, with asterisks
shown when the password is typed in. And the more interesting is
