I thought the 2GB limit was 4GB? From Windows XP I can copy a 3GB file from
NTFS to FAT32 without problems.

Ok, I just installed mplayer from blastwave and it seems to work fine, although

midnight commander from blastwave works too but not as good as mucommander for
copying ntfs. mc tries to copy files from ntfs to zfs, and when the ntfs mount

There are several old computers that only allows boot from CD.
I can use ntfscp to copy TO ntfs. A file with the file name I want copy to
ntfs, must also already reside there on the ntfs. ntfscp merely over writes an
existing file on ntfs. I can not create a new file on ntfs. This works fine:

Oh, now I hear that ATI has newly collected a device driver programming team
that is larger than NVidia's! I think that when AMD took over control, they

Well, I am not going to tune the kernel, but I was just wondering. Ok, Solaris
has several different tunable schedulers, whereas Linux has one. Linux
scheduler is aimed at server use, presumably solaris kernel is also. I wonder,

I have the Supermicro AOC card and use 4 Samsung 500GB drives with Opensolaris

How long uptime for Solaris and which version, have you heard of? Please be
quite sure when you post, not something like "i heard a tale about a strangers
cat whose neighbour had a solaris box in poland that had 5 years uptime".
