Can anyone tell me where you turn off this function. Google had an item that
said Kpowersave does it. But I cannot find any parameter for it. I have a
desktop, not laptop which appears to be what kpowersave is for. Did not find
anything on WIKI either.
Thanks for any pointers

Just installed SUSE 10.2. for some reason I cannot see the DVD drive with and
applications except YaST. I am able to install software and installed the
system from DVD. When I try k3b or kdar they do not see my dvd. There is no
entry in fstab or mtab for the dvd. YaSt hardware so it. When I try

Presently have dual boot SUSE10.0 and XP. I want to install 10.2 on new disk
and retain the old SUSE10.0 disk in case I have problems. The Grub boot
loader is on ( /dev/hdb2, root=/dev/hdb2) at /boot/vmlinuz.
Can I just fix the mbr for XP, unplug the old disk and install new one and
install 10.

Does anyone no the size of the 10.2 DVD download?
This will be the first time I try burning a version of SUSE.
After download do I burn an ISO DVD with K3B. What are the best setup options
for the burning.
