Hi Gary,
Could you remember what name resolution is necessary on your system ?
I have set up a Linux OTC server, a Linux based DHCP server together vwith a
router(for internet) and one other Dell Optiplex GX280 as the Thin Client.
Problem is that it is taking several minutes to reach the Thin
Hi All,
I am missing something here.
Firstly I am intending to connect the S 10 as a thin client as part of the
testing I am doing.
I spoke to my supplier this morning and as they did not have details of the
openthinclient side of things were unable to help as they seem to be Citrix
people.
Hi All,
I tried searching for the file but couldn't find it, so decided to try the
/etc/init.d/openthinclient start command and she started. Very strange -

Toni

So what am I experiencing with
Hi Corey,
Some explanations are necessary.
Firstly I am working with a system using a P3 500 Mb RAM Server, with a Dell
Optiplex GX 280 system as client, a 6 port 10/100/1000 Mbps switch and a Belkin
Router which is intended to give me the DHCP serviced required. I have set this
up with a
Thanks Bart.
Yes, have located the wrapper file and it is on the desktop of the server.
I may have mentioned that I took a new router attached it to my switch and am
using it for its DHCP capability.
Anyway after finding wrapper I thought I would simply get on to the internet
using the
Hi,
My first Thin client is timing out with a PXE- E53 No Boot filename Received
message.
I initiated a boot from the client - could see entry in PXE clients node and
converted it to a client,
but attempt to boot produces the PXE - E53 Message.
Any thoughts and help for this noobie.
