My messages
quite often come back quite late,
But, and
interesting thing, I have seen the answer to a message appear in my mailbox
just before the question!
So some
people are getting good response time

because you only get free upgrades
for on year. However you may continue using what you have bought forver
and ever.
I'll check out the agreement to see if the text is implying something
else, and if it does, we'll change it, we never meant it to be per year.

My guess is that the generated servlet from the JSP is exceeding the 64K
byte limit, and once compiled, causing the internally generated jmp op code
to have more than a 16 bit value.

Which begs the question,
Did you get Visual Age for Java to work with Orion, in particular debugging
EJB's?

Orion will again stop and allow netbeans to step line by line in the
debugger.

The attachment has the data-sources.xml and InventoryBean.java that I
was using for testing.
It shows that a thrown exception in the middle of a transaction will rollback
the transaction.

Or more generally, what JDK seems more stable, IBM JDK 1.3 or
Sun/Blackdown JDK 1.3?
Any information anyone has on their experience with dual CPU Linux
and or JDK on Linux would be much appreciated.

DA doc: "True if the target VM is to be suspended immediately
before the main class is loaded; false otherwise."
So in my opion it doesn't help when using an application server and the
method I want to debug isn't invoked directly by its main thread.
I tried it with suspend=n and it works
it works ok, if they
were compiled with jdk1.2.2_005 (NT) then they will not allow you to put a
watch point on a variable (you will not be able to see it's contents).
Hope this helps

would really like to be able to debug EJBs from within the IDE.
This also
begs the question of what Orion themselves are using.
Is it
straight JDK, or one of the IDEs?

I just
sent an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a normal e-mail attachment (I am
using outlook) and it seemed to work, the stuff even showed up in the e-mail
archives on the Orion servers.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone got Orion to work within IBM Visual Age for Java such that break
points can be set within the EJB's?
(i.e. EJB debugging)
