too.
Actually I guess I found the "root

If you've somehow set your Google email account to prevent emails from being
deleted by clients, I'm curious if OTRS continues to download the same

You have to enable the feature that allows you to change the state of
tickets in various windows, such as the note window.
In sysconfig:
- navigate to: Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewNote
- look for the item, Ticket::Frontend::AgentTicketNote###State
- set it to *Yes*

Hi all,
I have a strange problem.
I'm using a google business account for my OTRS. The same account is
accessed via POP (with leave messages on server) by a Thunderbird
client. Google mail is set to keep the accessed email in the Inbox,
without altering it's read state.
Ok, so the problem is thi
Hi Guys,
I need to know How to re-open closed tickets.

If you have installed the iPhone Handler, in the Admin > Package Manager
you should see a PDF documentation link. The JSON file is installed for
you along with the iPhone handler.

I don't think duplicates will take place, as it's a "Date" type, in other

Hi Phil,
Well, being new in general to trouble ticketing systems, this might sound a
little bit silly.
What I'm concerned about, is the ticket length. It is already long enough,
with the date and the system ID. But if I set the minimum length to 2 or 3,
then reset the counter every month, that wo

Hi Muhammad,
just out of curiosity, why would you do that?
Any ticket older than one month would be, I assume, overwritten. What
happens if a tickets needs longer to be resolved? Or the user asks
something about an older ticket? And furthermore, you'll loose all
