Ok, Willy Robion's alternative USB timing is available with release 2.4p1 Use --altUSB (note the spellling) in the command line. That's double-dash altUSB. I see no difference, but perhaps others will note better or worse results. Please give feedback. Paul Alfille On 6/7/06, Paul Alfille <[EMA

OK, this is a nit, but it will make owfs a little more accurate (admittedly, it’s not very significant difference)…   The calculation given by Dallas for a DS2438/HIH-3610 combination is:   Sensor_RH = (VAD/VDD) -0.16 / 0.0062   And Honeywell gives the following:   VAD = VDD (0.0062

I apologize if this is off topic, since owfs seems to handle DS2450 just fine, as best I can surmise. I purchased a "HVAC Monitor Kit" from Hobby Boards. The description of the board states that it can measure any voltage up to 28V AC or DC. The design has a diode and a resistive voltage divid

Hi Darryl;   Thanks for responding…   Indeed – my humidity readings are 10 to 15 points higher than actual, and the temp is also 2-5 deg C higher.   I wonder if it’s something in the Hobby-boards design, or something inherent in the chipset?   You mention that you have other DS18S20
