opening next Monday as a low risk birthing unit. Anything outside the ACMI
guidelines are refered or transfered to Gosford. We're so

would rather an uncomfortable ambulance ride than an agonising forceps
extraction by him! Shame they didnt ask that young couple about the
'management' of the birth and if they would have prefered to avoid the

Sally, it wasn't a disaster. You presented
extremely well. We all know that they will edit hours of filming to show a
few seconds of what they want to portray, however I felt the overriding exposure
was positive - the one obstetrician saying that he had been converted was worth
a lot!

Im a midwife at Wyong just north of Gosford. We
have a long established, wonderful midwifery led low risk unit with big baths in
all three rooms. New unit opened in Feb this year, team model of care, and
hopefully soon "case"load care also, BUT., the unit has
been closed for births and h

the last 1/2 of it though. When I read the transcript, I noticed that
you got your title, but there was no 'Dr' infront of Peter Mourik's name
;)
