it there record after record..its not only on

Don't copy the database anywhere. Just rename it (name, type and
creator), create the temporary one, invoke HotSync, delete the
temporary one, then restore the name of the original database.

I'm trying to get up to speed on Bluetooth programming and just compiled and
ran the sample program "BtLibTest" on Codewarror and ran it on the Simulator
running OS 5.35c. When I run it, I get the error "Missing required
