Debbie, Chuck from Columbus. I use XMPCR (I think that's what it's called)
the XM device used with the computer and I find it very accessible. I know
of a few visually impaired people who have the boom box, and the home unit
and they can use it, but they don't have the station read-out like you do
G'day,
Anyone know what the difference is between the ultra version and the non

Hi Pete
The little antenna that came with it is about 3 inches long, if that. I'm at work at
the moment so don't have it here to measure. It's on a small magnetic base and the
actual rod screws into what may be a loading coil though I'm not sure about that.
When I received mine, the antenna

Hi,
I have never seen the pc based satellite radio receivers. Do they connect
via USB? Are they portable? In other words, can you take the receiver and
plug it into different computers? I am glad to hear that they seem to work
well with Window-Eyes. Are they totally accessible?
Thanks,
Robert
I'll bet this person doesn't live in a major city. I was discussing this with a person
about this situation a couple of months ago.

Hi all. There's been some discussion of the accessibility of Nero. I have installed
it and burned a couple of CD's with it, and I find it very Jaws friendly. I'd like to
thank those who may have steered me in the direction of Nero.

No, we don't have repeaters here. At least, I don't think so, because I'm
unable to get a signal. I wish XM would stream their music on the net like
Sirius does. I didn't cancel my Sirius subscription, because at least I can
still listen to Sirius, but I really enjoy some of the shows on XM.
Lets see if any of you ever ran in to this problem. When I record tapes on to my hard
drive with gold wave they play fine. But when I try to record streaming audio or
record audio files from my hard drive, they distort no matter what the recording level
is set to. I am using a turtle beach
