Hi Kiran
I wouldn't change my Iriver h320 for anything! Not only is it reasonably
accessible, but the recording quality is the best I have heard from any
player of its size.
Another exciting development is that the folks at rockbox.org is working on
alternative firmware that may actually give th

Hey there. Well, it was most probably a Zen Xtra that your friend had, and
that is not good news at all for those of us who are interested in these
players. Thanks for the information.

A friend had that Creative hard drive based mp3 player. I got to use it for
a short while but couldn't select songs to play without sighted assistance.
Not sure if Creative has more than one range of hard drive players. It was a
20 GB model but I can't remember the exact model number.

Hi, what Jonathan's has? I have my Sony MP3 player. It is just like a

Hi
The one I had for a very brief period was completely inaccessible.
I still like my Iriver h320 - especially for accessibility.
And at rockbox.org they are busy working on a firmware version which will
actually allow the player to have a talking interface.

Hi all, I am Christmas shopping, and wonder if anyone can offer any advice.
I am looking for a hard-disk-based MP3 player that meets the following
criteria.
1. A blind person can use it reasonably easily.

The PNY vibe is around $170, and requires no software. I like it for its
portability, and its good sound. It will last for well over 20 hours on one

I heard the Creative ones disable your primary card (good thing I didn't
spend $300 on one) and the mic jack can't be used at the same time as the
mic. I think one always overrides the other if plugged in.

Does the luxpro tangent allow for resume? I mean by this that if one has a
