also, as a side note, if you're primarily interseted in quality and will
only playback using the comp, try ripping in WMA format. It sounds beter

Hi List:
Hi,
noticed no drop off in their signal. But, with that being said, I get my
sirius feed via dishnetwork, not their hardware; I only get the music
channels though, not talk radio...

Off topic: are you in Greater Cleveland? If so, check with Microcenters...
I may know you from 'share The Vision'

The issue of optical disk storage fragility has to do with the physical
characteristics of CDs and DVDs. They are made of plastics with various
surface
layerings. I read about this years ago that early commercial CDs were
already going bad in the early 90s. I've lost a number of data

I've used this product for quite a few years and I'm having a small problem.
It converts to most formats without errors but I can't rip from a CD. I
hear it can't find the able of contents and that an aspi driver may not be
associated properly. I've looked in their trouble shooting section but
I've used Cdex for years to rip files but I have Nero and I'm hoping I can
use only one program for most of my rip and burn needs. How easy is it to
rip with Nero? Is it just easier to keep using CDEX? thanks

The current version is 1.3, not 1.03. No, you don't have to install
