Well I don't use jfw so won't comment on that but I use a program called
MediaRecorder from:
http://www.twinklesoft.com/mediaDownload.html
It works great and it's freeware. Give it a try and see if that helps you.

It is back to the drawing board once more on this. I have downloaded media
recorder, but even with my firewall switched off, it still tells me that I
do not have a connection to the internet. Ron, can you please tell me more
about re-play radio?

What I meant was, when I changed to sounds board, it was only recording from
the mic and line in, but it was not recording the stream from the radio
station.

Before you give up on mediarecorder you want to make sure that the station
your trying to record is indeed up and running or you will get that error.
Also you do need to set up the length of time you want to record. You can't
just launch the program and press the record button. It doesn't work that
I did both of those things and it still thinks that there is no internet
connection.
