Hi Alexandra and all, I don't know why development of CDex has suddenly become a lot more active. However if updates to any software come out regularly I usually think it is a good thing because it means bugs are being fixed and people are taking an interest in improving the program.

A 320kbps mp3 file is good but not as good as a lossless format like wav, flac or lossless wma. You may only notice the short comings of mp3 when you play music back through a good hifi system. Of course, if you've ripped all your music to mp3 then it'll be too late to get that quality back
