What happens there is that you saved your file at a different sample rate
than you created it in. The program is asking you if you want the current
file in memory to be in that sampling rate (yes) or in the original
sampling rate at which it was recorded (no). I typically answer no to
this.
When in Goldwave do control-backslash, alt-g for general. arrow to
Key Lable dictionary and press enter. arrow to off and press enter.
You can save the set file by doing alt-f for file s for save and
entering on set file.

Your problem is not a GoldWave problem but a quirk with the card itself. As
strange is it might seem, you might try adjusting your playback volume.
