I have so many questions about the Spots, but so
little time. Why are they so liked by everyone? Did
someone say that Mamiya Nikon lenses will work with
this camera? Is that why they are so popular-even
more lenses to find on the used market?
It appears that they are well built also, as

My best deal was for my ME Super with a 50 f2, with everready case, af200s
with case, and off brand 28mm with case, an off brand 80-200 with case. The
manual for the camera and flash was also included. I got it all for $70.00.
I later traded the long zoom for a Pentax A 35-70 3.5-4.5

Not a super deal, but not bad. Last year I got a K1000 with a 50/2.0 lens,
assorted filters and a cheap bag at a yard sale for $25.00. Used it as

My recent camera body acquisition has mirror foam which is totally shot. I
tried out the mirror lock-up function and it stayed locked up i.e. stuck to
the foam!
Now the mirror is covered in sticky stuff. What's the best way to clean it off?

easy. The kit that I got has different sizes of foam, I had to do the
back too. You might want to check that. I used Naphtha (lighter fluid)

only go 90 degrees to the left or right. I'd love to be able to rotate
it 180 degrees, so I could fire it into my reflector umbrella and still
use the auto exposure function. Is there somme button that has to be

especially good value. It is a newer/improved model over the ME or ME Super
with both aperture and shutter speed priority plus manual modes and TTL
flash.

Well, being able to top off any battery before use is a definite
plus. You are right about all you said about NiCd batteries and
using a smart charger. But, smart chargers are not cheap and
they don't let you top off the charge on the batteries. They

One question-it appears
