I definately prefer the second. Thats a pretty good photograph. The
background is a lot better, and I see an idea behind the composition.
Orchids are nobele plants, and they should be photographed with respect ;-)

The K10D has a lot of advanced functions, much more direct access to features
through dedicated buttons, it is faster, the body is sealed, there is the
sensor cleaner, better viewfinder...

Someone does make an M42 mount body. Or at least they did until fim died. It
might have been Bessa Voigtlander. Not sure.
