end user/viewer. Is the 'feeling' you get looking at the 2 images the same
or somehow different because it is film?
If you were to crop them to same view then you could use those to get

Yep, what Bruce said. The manual option is still and excellent tool, and it's
still around in Lightroom 5. With LR 5 you'll get the option to do a bit of
automatic work (which I think is very good) and manual tweaking. Try it.

(regular for Pentax) 49 mm filter thread. It is indeed a zoom macro
attachment that produces effect similar to the one that Mark has shown.
