After sharpening, I often go to "Filter" in the edit heading, chose, despeckle
under "noise",
and "despeckle" a grainy image followed by a resharpening.
Smooths the scene and, I feel, cleans up the image.

pronounced than Tri-x grain at ISO 800. Printed and viewed from a normal
