Hi Third party flashes may damage the camera due to too high current or voltage. But most modern flashes will be fine (if they are made after the camera model, there's a good chance, the manufactorers know what they're up against, right? Well, the 135mm pulls in more - graeter magnification. But the 100mm is faster=brighter screen/vievfinder=easier focusing/better in low light - about half a stop.
