from a single piece of metal gives me a lot of pause. It also lacks

Based on the photo, I guess that they said just slap any old thing on
there doesn't matter what. They couldn't even be bothered to take the
aging protective film off the LCD or make sure the rubber eyepiece was
mounted straight.

the second episode, one of the characters is taking lots of pics with
an older Pentax. Looks like an ME or ME-super. I didn't pay close
enough attention.

Certainly looks like it. Of course it could be a Spotmatic 500 or 1000
(without the self timer) but McCartney would have been far too cool to
