I noticed that mirror slap was much quieter with the MZ-3 and ZX-5n. and while those mirrors were a bit smaller than the LX mirror they weren't all that much smaller. The *ist-D seemed to use the same mirror box reflex mirror assembly that the MZ/ZX series film camera used. On 3/19/2012
