Ecke, this is exactly why I bought a 'real' gps (a Garmin GPsMap 60cx).
It is not that much more expensive and it can be used a gps in car,
trekking or cycling.
It logs for 18 hours on two AA alkalines.

technology. That is, if only Pentax cameras were built with blue tooth
capability. You would then only have to have the GPS unit near the
camera, not connected to it.

For sure, the lens is a mock-only exhibition inside a case. The
roadmap indicates they haven't pinned down the focal length yet
either.
