The problem is there are other photographers out there who are
charging $15 and making money off of it. They use cheap labor and
churn out the pictures fast.
They are making money by being the exclusive provider of services and
offering up-sells of the basic package.

And, just like that, I discover that Walgreens has a much better
package for $9.99. Not too shabby.

Your price should be between $80 and $140 per package.

I agree, Tom. I figure I'll start out doubling it -- $30 per pkg.
That seems like a reasonable price, and given that I don't have any
experience at this type of photography at all, I wouldn't feel
comfortable asking more than that, really.
Thanks for the input.

If it were me I'd double or triple the Walmart price and call it good.
$50 or less is something most parents would find reasonable and it's
not a lot of money for you, but it does compensate you a bit for your
time.

That's $240 per team, not per person -- which, I think, would be
exorbitant.

Hi Paul,
I think you've got a pretty good handle on the photography I'm thinking

seven different teams, that $240 per team (or thereabout) will add up to

Hi Igor,
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer in such detail. You've
given me quite a bit to think about, here. Given that I'm

Thanks, John.
I think that's a probably an excellent guide to go by down the road when
I do more involved portraiture. What I'm envisioning in this situation
is more like pictures made at school, where they move them through like
cattle. I figure, if I can do a decent job at making the bas

Walter,
First, a disclaimer.
I don't think my opinion would be a representative one on this matter
either from a typical photographer's point of view, or from the potential
clients': I don't fit the typical profile.
So, take it with a grain of salt.
What to charge - is a hard question.
