The F 1.4/50mm was in production 1989-1991
The FA 1.50/mm was in production 1991-2004

On a DSLR it's an excellent portrait lens.
I's still VERY much cheaper than a 1.8 77mm or a A* or FA 1.4 85mm.
The affordable Pentax DSLR's made this standard AF lens very attractive for
portrait work, I believe.
I didn't have one in my PZ-1 - MZ-S days ... :-)

My Flash Trax only accepts CF cards.
In order to use it with my *ist DL, I need an adapter, so I can download my

Are there adapters made for this, please?

That three very good reason to shoot film.

d use film for 25-50% of all
shots. Digital is slow and very time consuming. But it's VERY, VERY
affordable!
Today I shoot 50 exposures a day in average. With film this would be too
expensive for me. It would cost me in the neighbourhood of 10.000 USD every
year.

I know the zone sytem, William - IIRC it requires that you measure shadows
and higlight for each shot in order to place things in the right (wnated)
zone - provided you "develop" each shot individually.
With all respect - I thought the issue here was how to AVOID post
processing?
