SELECT name=day[] size=7 multiple

SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE ID IN (1,3,7,9);

I want to select some records with e.g. ID's 1,3,7 and 8
How can this be done best?
is it: SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE ID=1,3,7,8 ??
Is this a PHP question?
