The few times I've tried to use GTalk for a video chat, it didn't work
at all. The video was choppy, froze constantly, and ended up just
dropping the call. Skype seemed to work better for me, but it still
wasn't stellar. That said, I had two follow-on questions from this:

the articles I've read it seems skype is better. But which uses more

admit, I have been trying to figure out how to get GV to work the way I
want it to work.

The only problem with google date searching is that it is based on the
last modified time sent when its robot collects the page. In the case of
things like forums or dynamic blogs those dates are always fairly recent
depending on how the page was cached by the webserver.

GV works on landlines
I use google voice in a different capacity. The number tied to GV is the
one I give out. I can then tell GV where to send that call to, so it acts
as a router. I also keep most of my friends and colleagues in my address

Was talking to der.hans about this last week. He mentioned that
I agree and aside from gaming, I have been moving to a private cloud for all
my data which I can access from my Google phone or 12-inch netbook. Its been
interesting seeing Android dev's looking at an app for this as well.
