Hi all, I'm struggling with this!
I'm trying to use the CustomTags template to provide different users
(i.e. me and the wife) with their own Artists-Albums lists. I added
an Owner tag to a few tunes to test and created the CustomTags menu
item (using the OWNER tag).
I can kind of get it

Does an interface exists for a touch screen.
In my kitchen I have a touchscreen and I want to control my Squeezebox
with the Touchscreen.
There is NO keyboard installed; only a touchscreen in the wall.
What I am looking for:
- Interface controllable via the mouse (=touchscreen) with nice BIG

It's allmost the same as the Nokia 770.
It has also the problems with scrolling and as no on-sceen

What is the model / type of the touchscreen you have installed in your
wall ? Just a display screen for your PC or is it some kind of
proprietory unit like the Nokia ?
The Nokia770 and most handhelds have 'inbuilt' screen keyboard which
pop up when you need to input text. It sounds to me as if

Even with the popup for text input; we still have the problem with
scrolling

As Techhome discussed in another thread, and I assume that this little
quirk was not ironed out as I had to do it to get it to work, going to
a XM stream and pressing play won't work. What you have to do is go to
the stream press play and then back track to now playing push play
again and it
TechHome's patches (in the other thread) worked perfectly for me in
6.5.1. Play works. The titles are displayed.

be limited to included/excluded comment tags. I can't seem to see an
obvious way to do this. Can someone explain how to filter by a comment
tag?

- Corrected so tag names for Custom Tag module is case insensitive
- Corrected so Custom Tag module doesn't require a clear to rescan

Ok, now for the results. I've run into two issues here. I chose
Filtered Genres and specified an include comment of xyz.
1. When I attempted to save my configuration,

XMPlugin in a separate thread. But I have not tried that.

Since upgrading to itunes 7 (7.02) the itunes update plugin for
slimserver is nolonger working correctly if in direct update mode.
If I start playing a song everything is still fine, but as soon as it
moves on to the next song and the update of itunes should take place,
slim server
This is NOT an option because the touchscreen is fitted in the wall.
There is also a visualisation software on it to control our home
(lighting, heating, camera's, ...)

I have tried to install AlienBBC , but no luck
Info as follows:
Windows XP
Slimserver 6.5 V2006_11_10
Alien BBC V1.06_6.5
Alien folder in Plugins folder.
Mp player in Bin folder
MP Player test seems to work.
What did I do wrong,

I restarted Slimserver, and also restarted the computer to make sure.

Working for me on 6.5 official release. Thanks for getting this working
again! It doesn't go back the the XM menu after you play a station
(goes back to main SB menu if you hit the left arrow), but it works!
