I only ha very few classical tracks, so I actually know quite little
about this. The main purpose of the example is to show how to configure
something like this in Custom Browse, so I think I wil

I set up slimserver on my server box, got it running,
and I can get a copy of softsqueeze to run if I browse thru to the
applet link on my server, under the softsqueeze page of the slimserver
"web" page.
I would like to run the softsqueeze app directly on my laptop using sun

Okay, I'm back. I use SuperDateTime as a Now Playing screen saver,
because I would usually rather see the time and temperature than
whatever song is currently playing. But with the interactive version of
the SDT plugin, I can't do my old habit of just hitting the up or down
button to get back to t
Thanks -- actually I realized that the WUnderground support was the key
to it all. Turns out I was able to find a perl script that will take my
station output, reformat it into WUnderground format, and upload it! So
now I'm just pointing the new SDD plug-in at my weather station on

This message usually appears because DNS was not set up when Slimserver
was starting up.
Try just restarting slimserver - do not reboot PC or restart Windows.

Hi,
The problem was that easytag's comment field gets written as

Hey CubsFan,
I hacked an older version of SDT to work with my home weather station.
I'm trying to re-hack the latest version to work with it, and am trying
to get your WeatherUnderground function to do the trick. (The current
version of my station software doesn't work with WeatherUnderground.)

I'm using Windows Vista, & Slimserver 6.3.1
It's been working happily for three months, until today!
AlienBBC on my SB3 lists all the programs available by listen again,
but whatever I select, it says "unable to open remote URL"
I restarted the PC.
I reinstalled AlienBBC.
I ran the mplayer test
I also do not see the differenc between movement and song. Isn't that
the same?
I prefer to split classical CDs into "virtual albums" so that I use the
album tag for a work and the track tags for the movements of the work
(each work thus defines a "virtual album"). This works fine whith CDs

I'll try 6.5.2 and let you know.
It is just one big track on a commercial CD - about 45 mins long
(that's classical music for you). I am not aware of using cue sheets
(not sure exactly what they are). I just use EAC + AccurateRip
configured for my cd-rom drives to get hopefuly perfect rips

The end-of-track problems should be fixed with 6.5.2 - can you give it a
try with that and let me know if it works?
Meanwhile I'll rip a disc to one big track for testing. (Is this
really one track? Do you use a cue sheet?)

Hi - I have a CD which rips to a single 230MB FLAC file using EAC. If I
play it with the Inguz equalizer on, then two things happen. Firstly
there is a fraction of a second played right at the beginning of the
track which shouldn't be there. Secondly, and more importantly, it just
stops playing af
