I've changed Artist to Simon and Garfunkel and it works fine. Not a
big deal - took seconds with mp3tag.
I wrote e-mail to Flavio. Hopefully it's not difficult to fix, but I
don't know how he implemented search nd if he dedicates any time at

I would suggest that if first attempt to search

I was running the beta 7.1 and Sirius was fine. Updated
software/firmware to the 7.1 final and now Sirius is a no go.
It can scroll through all the channel offerings; it acts like I am
connected to them; but when I hit play it just times out. It even lists
the song it's trying to play.

Erland,
I reported bug 9073:
When an alarm goes off, I see the now playing screensaver. After 30 seconds

strange things to happen.
Sometimes I briefly see the power-off screensaver or idle screensaver.

I've got softsqueeze 3.5 running in OS X 10.5.4 with squeezecenter 7.0.1

When you get Factual menu - there should be 191 items on 4 pages.

If you do not get 191 items then SC web page fetches may be timing out

Many thanks bpa, but sadly it has made no difference. This is the full
list of what I get (see below). If it was a timeout issue I'd expect it
to finish aprt way throuhg, but I get a full A-Z listing.

That's not the output from the iPlayer Menu Addon but the old Listen
Again menu.
In fact there is a typo in V3 of the iPlayer Categories and A to Z
menus which gives an error. I have a V4 nearly ready but in the
meantime you can edit the iPlayer.opml file and remove the

No, I too don't see the BBC iPlayer radio menu entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, I have done this. I previously installed
AlienBBC and it works fine (for live stuff). Today I have extracted the
three files from the iPlayerAddonV3.zip file and placed them into

The preference warning can be ignored, it's just a warning of a
deprecated API that will be changed in a future version of
SqueezeCenter.

No, I'm sorry. I looked through the logs when I noticed the other Alarm
problem with Dynamic Playlists, but it wasn't related to that. I thought it
was worth mentioning anyway.
I'll keep a close eye on the logs whilst I use SqueezeCenter and
At a guess your AlienBBC installation although marked as 2.01b1 - may
not be correct perhaps some wrong files are left.
However comparing the file listing you gave against the distribution

wrong in it.
Ok, had a long play with this and i conclude that the EQ isn't working
at all. You can select the 9 band eq, select the freq. alter the db
range, save the settingz, etc, but unless i've missed a 'turn eq on'
setting, none of the changes actually do anything. Sound is exactly the
same as
Okay it seems things keep working. My advice to non-USA/UK/DE
last.fm/duet users:
- Keep the inbuilt plugins audioscrobbler and last.fm disabled in
squeezecenter/settings/plugins. They don't work for you and will
prevent squeezescrobbler to work like you want it.

I'm in the process of migrating my Linux server to a Windows server. I
still want SC to run under Linux, the same as I want Apache and Postfix

Tried Random Song Mix, and I had the same problems. Hmm, now I'm confused. I
tried a favorite as a playlist with no 3rd party plugins installed, and I
thought it was working.
More investigation needed. I'll go back to a vanilla SC and try again.

Do you mean you're installing iPeng templates in Plugins/iPeng/HTML instead of
