Grey out means SC cannot find the executable that is specified in the custom-convert.conf file (i.e. aacpmplayer.sh). Either the files does not exist in the place SC expects or the file is not executable. Making a shell script executable is not AACplus specific. The shell script is just a variat

That is correct. AlienBBC only provides access to the RealAudio streams. Have you installed the full AlienBBC plugin ? the update is only a few replacement files to updaste a full installation of AlienBBC. The WMA live streams are already available under Internet Radio menus bundled with SC.

Slight correction - it's now working. It seems the screensaver when off had somehow been set directly to SuperDateTime (guessing I hit apply while it was showing this saver on the settings screen and that removed SaverSwitcher). I still have the confusing double entries in the Extras menu though
