For the avoidance of doubt, AlienBBC works fine with my Squeezebox 2

I had changed the plugins.pm with this line:

Back in 6.x I think you wanted bitrate limiting with AlienBBC - I think
it now works with 7.3 with AlienBBC and 2.04.

Currently reformating my external hard disc to FAT32 from previous NTFS
format, hope it works.
Now my question is how to migrate my Trackstat from Windows platform
(Vista) to Mac OS?

symptoms as your bug. Unfortunately they went away before I tracked
them down but they are related to the output of wavin2cmd not being
read.
I think they could be due to something blocking the socketwrapper app

Yes but usually the USB device is protected so you have to make the
shark2 app in the SharlPlay/Bin privileged or make the USB devices
writeable by all users. The instruction were are in the original forum

turned repeat off - no difference. this happened before the upgrade to
7.3
Generally if you pause a radio stream (especially a live one) it will
disconnect after a few minutes - so the "pause" issues is a separate
and distinct disconnect cause.
If a stream is left to play unhindered with no pauses - it then stops
after X minutes. The streams can be stopped either by SC
No difference.
(I pressed APPLY, should I have restarted Squeezecenter?)

BPA - Apologies - I followed your instructions "to the letter". No Wave
Input Plugin is displayed after I added the URL to the "additional
Repositories". I deleted the existing Wave Input folder from plugins
and rebooted even, before making the Settings changes. I must have done

Shouldn't you reformat your hard disk to Mac-compatible format? Fat32
won't be recognized by your iMac. Go to Utilities/Disk Utility to do
the formatting.

Check which version of SqueezeTray.exe is running from Task Manager
(i.e. path to executable) and the post details of the executable that
is running.

plugins for my purposes is AutoDim Display so that I can dim the
Squeezebox in the bedroom.
The latest Autodisplay will not allow me to set the dim
I was told MS-DOS FAT32 format can be read and recognized by iMAC, last
night after reformating my external HDD, i copied some music files
(.flac) and cover art then use SC to clear and rescan the HDD, it works
perfectly, SC can play the files and show the album art.

One of my Squeezeboxes is in a holiday shack with no Internet connection
- the server is next to the TV and is connected via cat5 to a cheap
wireless router/switch and the SB3 sits on the amp next to the
fireplace. New music is added via usb external disk. I am about to
upgrade this server to SC 7

It's not possible today.
Making it possible to select what statistics to view would be a big
change, but it might be possible to add an option so you can select
that a specific player shouldn't store statistics. Would that solve
your problem ?
In that case, should it only make sure no statistics
If you are using the latest TrackStat version on the iMac, it should be
enough to take a TrackStat backup in TrackStat settings on Windows and
then restore the backup file in TrackStat settings on the iMac.
