I've certainly heard talk of AAC+.
It would be a shame if this particular plugin were affected. It's now
the main function that I use on the Squeezebox. Well done those
involved.
Have you seen this?

Sounds strange, it should definitely not be that slow.
Could you install the Database Query plugin and post the result of the
two queries:
- TrackStat Inconsistency/Problems
- TrackStat statistics
Which version of SqueezeCenter and TrackStat are you using ?
Do you have the "TrackStat Playlist" o

Anyone have any idea as to how to go about making a plugin for the NPR

I hope this is appropriate for this forum. I just installed the NPR
plugin... very cool, but American Routes is not on there... a music
program for those not familiar with it:

In looking at the Inguz forum i appears that Inguz does not yet support

But I am still having problems. I think the problem is not related to
Inguz except maybe indirectly since I never had the problem before

I am seeing this too, so can confirm it is also a bug on 7.3.3 on Mac OS
X. I have also noticed a few occasions when iTunes Update seems to have
stopped updating completely. Not sure I can track down when this
happens, but restarting SC brings it back to life again.
Incidentally, are there any

Yes, sure :-) As soon as all my test are through (might take a few hours

A more flexible approach would of course be nice, but you know how it

I guess I abuse the Trackstat plugin as all my songs are rated.

Ok, done. I found a way to change CustomTag.pm without breaking existing
functionality, but with the extra option of user-definable tag mapping.
Will run it through some extensive testing now (test cases plus 25,000
file library with mixed file types and varying tag quality) and let you

The last track of an album or playlist doesn't get updated in iTunes

The basic mechanism which AlienBBC uses hasn't changed - a few

them AlienBBC would not be compatible.
There are a number of issues.

Hello everybody. I'll bet I'm not the first person to have this
problem, but I couldn't find anything obvious about it, so here
goes...
I use SqueezeCenter 7.3.2 on Ubuntu 8.0.4 (both kept patched
automatically), with 1 controller and two receivers.
Ever since I upgraded to 7.3 (which I think i
Ok, thanks to Triode I was able to plug back the OPML contents into

Assuming you have a working phpsysinfo setup on machine serving SC7,
you can unzip the attached archive in your Plugins/InfoBrowserAddons/

Then in SC, go in the InfoBrower web

I wonder in the meantime if any Mac users have found a way to stream

Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well. What ?
Looking at the forums and the problems people have, I think CustomScan
could benefit from an (optional) generalized »Tag Remapper Module«.
This would allow (at least for CustomScan/CustomBrowse users) to handle
complicated situations, like
- mapping »ALBUM ARTIST« to »ALBUMARTIST«
- mapping
The bbc doesn't seem to like to tell us what they are planning to do in
this respect. Although aac streams are good in terms of a modern
codec, squeezeboxes are not able to decode it natively so I hope they
keep the existing streams. I've got no evidence that they will change,
but there is a cha

Thanks for helping, erland I really appreciate it.
Id be prepared to change some code, and of course feed it back to you,
so all can benefit.
