On the Synology Squeezecenter, when I open Squeezecenter / Settings / Advanced / AlienBBC, mplayer is listed as installed. It is also shown as an option in the dropdown menu in the filetypes tab. Apparently the Extension downloader installed some mplayer on the Synology together with AlienBBC. Is

Extension Downloader does not install mplayer. AlienBBC will try to install mplayer on Windows as the Windows binary works on all Windows platforms. AlienBBC does not try to install mplayer on Linux as processor and kernel can be different on different systems. Where did your mplayer come from

No BBCiplayer or AlienBBC plugin comes with SC installation. You had to have installed them explicitly. However they have been updated recently and it is important to know specifically which version. To get the version no all you need do is look at WebUI Settings/Plugins page to get the

I am a Canadian subscriber. I have SC version 7.3.1. I can't get Sirius to work with either plugin 1.5 or 1.0.2. Sirius had worked fine for months with 1.0.2 and suddenly hung up on getting the channels a few weeks ago. 1.5 won't let me input my ID and password - I get page not found. -- Rick

Ah found the Extension Downloader in the plugin section of settings, and once I'd gone into the settings for ED I was able to then select the BBC iPlayer add-in and yes I can hear audio from that thank-you. Also found the another thread in connection with this topic over here...
