I've been looking at a couple of experimental ways of streaming the BBC
Flash Player AAC streams to my Squeezebox.
Here are the details.

It's odd that you have to keep setting up the receiver using UDAP. Are
you turning the receiver off at night?

UDAP are you remembering to save the the changes permanently? If you

A Squeezebox is a dumb device and ALWAYS needs a server to work, it
can't do anything without one.
This server is either SqueezeCenter or SqueezeNetwork.
iPeng also ONLY talks to the server, never to the player

I've a question about Freenas: I installed the squeezecenter plugin for
Freenas (which is installed on an old laptop - USB stick) and it's
working good; so, I use Freenas only as a Squeezecenter server.

Thanks, it's caused by a difference between MySQL and SQLite, will try
to fix it for next release of SQL Playlist and potentially also
TrackStat and Playlist Generator plugins which contains the same
problem.
7.4 is in development and so for a while 1.07b1 worked but after some
7.4 changes is now broken.
I have a new version 1.07b2 to work with 7.3 and all versions of 7.4
but it needs a little more testing - hopefully a new beta in a few days.

Is there a limit of how many albums will show under Various Artists,
I have 738 under this category but only 650 will display, so I can't
access the other 88 albums on my Touch, I even left my Touch alone for
20mins to see if it was a time issue but still stays at 650, the albums

Nope. This is bleeding edge stuff, hence I posted to see if the crew
who did AlienBBC could make the last jump from mplayer into
SqueezeCenter.
I've got an experimental get_iplayer PVR
I've been playing with a modified version of iPlayer to do the same
thing for live and listen again. It needs a bit more work, but are
people interested if they need to download and install the helper app
(flvstreamer) themselves?

iPeng reads the Albums in chunks of 100 and then 300.
Could it be it's 700, not 650?
That would mean the last chunk (of 38 Albums) doesn't get read.
If it's really 650 it sounds more like the server doesn't send them
all.

Which SC version is this?
An individual artist doesn't get cached, so flushing the cache should
have no effect.
SC Version 7.3.2, just noticed that they all show in Albums but not in
Atists\Various Artists(Only the 650), weird...

No matter what I do I always get an invalid credentials message.
Softsqueeze users get this same message and apparently on Softsqueeze
if play is pressed again, napster plays.
Softsqueeze is similar to an SB1 in that it cannot play WMA natively
and it needs on Linux OSX mplayer for WMA.

What do you see in the Web interface?
iPeng uses sorting by Year, Album under various artists, if you use
that same sorting (or Artist, Year,

connect your player to.
