i had to unistall (just to test some performance problems) some plugins.
among these, trackstat.
now, it's note available anymore in the list.
note: ia have full licence to erland's plugins.

LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi running Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16-24 bit,
44.1-192kbps. Wired Touch + EDO,
Stuart / DSTMK is there any way to adjust the audio buffer / latency to
help bring the shairtunes playback in line with other Apple Airplay

Ok 256kBps mp3 you cant get the 320k AAC on Squeezeboxes , that makes
normal spotify for squeezebox better than non hifi wimp .

Well, I have been using Spotify for quite a wile now and mostly use it
for streaming pop music. Which is fine, but I used Qobuz lossless or
my own Flac collection for classical - and there really is quite a
difference.

Your claim of an audible difference at 320 kbps contradicts what I've
seen in
I recently updated iPeng to iPeng 8 and have found that it regularly
locks up my iPad (the Home and Sleep/On/Off buttons don't work and parts
of the iPeng 8 screen flicker). The only escape is to do a hard reset

Its a bit hard to do properly , I switched back and forth with spotify
premium 320k ogg (better than wimp 256k mp3 for us
iPad 4, right?
Sorry, it's a know issue with long track names that scroll. It's
actually a bug in the iPad 4's GPU as it seems.
We have a workaround that was in the last iPeng 7 version but
accidentally got deactivated in iPeng 8, it will be active in the next
update again.

Found the problem in my case I just had to press apply on the settings
page as for some reason it said that the password was not set .
Note I did not reenter the password It was still there I saw the dots in
password field and my correct identity , i just pressed apply again

Yes, it is an iPad 4 and yes, I do have some longish track names that
scroll (though I try to keep the track names short) and I have quite a
lot of longish album names (for classical music) that scroll.
