That did it. Had to reboot, there was nothing showing in the firewall.

Could you please print the output from the plugin's settings page? Or

I got my killer update as well ... What seems to happen is a missing
response from the CCA. If ou look here,
https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/reference/messages#MediaComm,
every request as an Id that can be read in a following response. I use
that obviously for queuing commands. What happen

I realized one interesting fact which has nothing to do with the
Chromecast but with Google itself. Today I've played music on one of my
other players (piCoreplayer on a RPi Zero) which is not connected per
chromecast audio. Local music, radio streams, mixcloud, soundcloud
everything works fine. B

Hi Michael,
I appreciate all the hard work! Really great attempt to keep LMS in the
running for a modern music player. Any chance this plugin works on an
ARM processor equipted Synology NAS (DS214+)? I get the below error when
I want to go to the Spotty settings to add my credentials.

Today I upgraded to version 0.8.9 (LMS told me that restart is needed
due new version of plugin, so i did it). Since then in extGUI4LMS
strange errors occurs (see attachment) and the interface itself is
loaded terribly slow (including album art). I can not play anything via

Unfortunately, as I've reported in post #4 of this thread, I'm running
the latest 7.9.1 nightly on 2 win7 machines and the problem is there
with both of them. Is it as has been suggested a change made by Qobuz?

I am having the same issue with the artwork with the server version

It seems to work with a recent nightly. I upgraded my server to 7.9.1
and there i can't reproduce the problem.
Ok, I can reproduce this. I did indeed improve support for https in

_When_ does it start and is being killed? The spotty helper is not a
daemon like the older protocol handler. It's run to do some task, then
exits again. Eg. when you want to play a track,
I couldn't get the Spotify Connect authentication to work, manual entry
of my Spotify credentials worked fine.
Could that be related to a firewall on my server VM?
FYI I'm running Fedora.

Here's a bit more info:
If I press "Pause" I can resume playback again by pressing "Play" as
long as that's the only thing I do. This can be repeated.
If I press "Pause" and the Skip to next Track, it is mute. The progress
bar indicates playing, but it isn't. If I check the Google Home devices

Hi
I've been trying to resolve my Local Player issue with new binaries
provided by Ralphy.
Everything I tried failed so as a last resort I tried uninstalling and
re-installing LMS Repack. The problem is the package won't re-install as
I get this message:

I am having the same issue with the artwork with the server version

It seems to work with a recent nightly. I upgraded my server to 7.9.1
and there i can't reproduce the problem.

Hi guys,
Thanks again to Michael for the great implementation. We also tested it
under our newest Max2Play and it works like a charm.
Just make sure:

Spotty and NOT the any of the third-party Spotify plugins.

Are you running the LMS Re-pack by PinkDot? I have installed LMS RePack
on my Synology DS215j in the last few days and Chromecast and UPNP
plugins run with armv5te-static binaries, although my device is supposed
to be an ARMV7

No, nothing Spotty related unfortunately.
