I now tried it several times:
- With an umlaut in -Sonos-' player name, the player has to be enabled
manually.
- Without an umlaut in Sonos' player, the player is enabled
automatically.
I don't know if this matters somehow:

Thanks for replying.
Had a try tonight, trying to play an audio file that was stored on the
phone. Same symptoms, phone is playing audio, what was previously
playing on

It does (disallow-other-stacks), and it defaults to non-exclusive use.

So here's the setting:
I have two players in my AirPlay Bridge (APB).
- Player AE and Player B. That's their Sonos name and their APB name
as well: AE@AE and B@B. Both are working as expected.
- Now I rename Player AE in Player Ä in the Sonos app.
- APB now has three players are listed.

I'm experimenting with moving LMS into a Docker container and I've hit a
stumbling block with ShairTunes.
As I'm on a Pi host, it is running Raspbian which, by default, has the
Avahi daemon running. This binds to 5353:udp on all interfaces and
therefore blocks Docker from doing so and

Having not used the iPlayer Extras for quite a while I now get the above
error on every featured show I go to.
If I paste the relevant url into a browser I get the listing on the BBC

The CBC Radio-Canada plugin now (version 0.0.3) puts the composer's name
(if available) at the front of the track title when playing the ICI

I do want to have a look at those as well but have not had a look yet.
One other oddity with the Now Playing info from Radio-Canada (French
service) is that they sometimes truncate the artist name.
I have just seen "Schuppanzigh Qua" which I presume should be
"Schuppanzigh Quartet"
They also

Hi all,
I just wanted to share a very painful experience in case others have the
same issues - I am not sure if this is a general issue or if something
particular about my setup caused the issue (LMS implemented as a

This announcement is for two distinct plugins for the CBC Radio services
of Canada.
The English service (CBC Radio One and CBC Music) is at
https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio
The French service (ICI Musique and ICI Première) is at

There was a button in Material that located the currently playing track.
Has that been removed? It was a useful feature to access extra menus of
a track

without supporting info is just noise. I did check the feature, and it
does work for me.
Use the Material debug, and check what info is sent to, and received
from LMS.
