Sure that's possible, though a waste of time, as the latest changes have
no impact on the streaming.

If I set Qobuz prefs to be 24/96 will LMS transcode it for an SB3? Or
does the plugin recognise the player as not capable of 24/96 and request

I don't know... please let us know about your findings :-)

Instead of start-fresh-by-reinstall, what got me back to sanity when
things got as hopeless as you describe, was to stop LMS, delete all db*
files from Squeezebox/Cache folder, and then let it rebuild it all by
doing a full re-scan.
That's definitely true. A re-install almost _never_ would fix

limiting the plugin to LMS 7.X
I've updated it to include 8.X (on which it is completely untested,.. ),
so you can give it another go.

You're right. I thought even letters displayed were part of responsive
design but I was wrong. If I have a larger window before clicking on
Artists, the list then is displayed correctly.

confirming that I see none of these issues with Material skin. And as
the author of the plugin notes, it would be impossible for Material to
modify the LMS behaviors you mention (it's just a skinit still uses
the underlying LMS program). Something is obviously wrong in your
setup, but

Sorry, but those issues *cannot* be caused by Material skin. It does not
override LMS functionality, only provides some extra JSONRPC commands
(all material-skin-*) and provides some web pages, within 'material'

Is this wheel-tilting still a thing? It's been a while since I saw this
on a newer mouse. But I also would like to see the forward and backward
button to work with SLX. Could be that this would have to be done in
Material, though.

There is a podcast that I listen to that is around 45 minutes long and I
stopped using LMS to listen to it because it fails at around 20 minutes
