Beautiful - this is exactly the level of hackery I was hoping for. I'll
try it this weekend =)

Hi,
in ways I don't understand MAI keeps downloading pics of artists that I
have no picture of. I don't know why it does that and I don't know where
these pics are saved either. How can I disable this function? I am aware
of the path pointing to the storage location and I have checked but this

Seriously I'm happy that things are working

I don't recall how I installed it originally. Still, I just uninstalled
it with F-Droid, and reinstalled it, and it's still 0.1.4. Never mind,
for now at least.
LMS 8.1 on PC, Xubuntu 20.04, FLACs

As they are signed with different keys you cannot update one from the
other.

This is where I feel that you and others have a misunderstanding of what
happens when you use the 100% fixed output level player audio setting.
With this setting, you

It works also on my same system (only difference is piCorePlayer 7).

Material already marks parts of its 'history' as needing to be
refreshed. e.g. if a user was looking at the contents of a playlist, and
the queue was saved as a playlist, when navigating back out of the
playlist

Anyway, since it only affects the -post-scan refresh- I'll try a
workaround and add a dedicated post-scan function that calls the refresh
function unless it's been done in the last 30 seconds or so.
What I sometimes do in such situations is to

Thanks, that seems to have everything. Unfortunately, I see nothing that
tells me the list should be refreshed on going back :( I could add a
hack where if the command is "spotty items item_id:1.0 search:" that
it refreshes on back, but that

Very easy. Starting the program at startup with Task Scheduler and
ticking the "Hidden" check-box.

that should expand to show all
