system clock matter, as what has been
changed is I finally know how to fix the difference between the system
clock of the Vortexbox and the hardware clock of the computer. I did
it last night before I shut down the server. Maybe this is of helpful
to debugging.

Peng crashed again. If my finger is fast enough, before it
crashes again I can pick the new album and start playing. Once it
plays, even it crashes again the songs still continue.
I did re-boot the iPad, the vortex box, LMS, uninstall iPeng and
re-install
Please advise what else I should do.

I have to report again that, although I have done nothing, yesterday
under the Setting-->Advance I can find the server information again.
I don't know what did I do, somehow it fixed.

you can add an option to let the
user decide whether it should be updated from the server or continue
using the stored cache data, after all, the user should know it better
than letting the iPeng decide:)

Thanks Pippin, yes this is where it used to be. However, now under the
Settings-->Advance there is no Squeezebox Information. no Squeezecentre
Information.
Is it some settings I screwed up in the server side?
I may be missing something, I don't know starting from when I can find
the player & server information (eg. ip address, firmware # etc) from
the iPeng. I remember it was there before.
Can someone point me where it is?

click the home button and pressed the iPeng icon until a minus sign
appear and then I press the minus sign). Once I re-start the iPeng,
the server do startup accordingly.
I didn't bother to test it again and li

iPeng.

nsecutive days after I recharged the iPad during
the music session, the battery level dropped to 20% after one night if
I didn't shut down iPeng even though I turned off the wifi connection.
I am sure there are no other apps running in my iPad. I thought it was
something else until 2e
hen using Server
Power Control to shutdown the server. Then the screen of the Touch
will stay in stop mode and my screen saver for stop mode kick in.

When the song finished
why its pointer go back to the beginning and start counting again (I
was wrong yesterday, I checked last night, the pointer goes back to the
beginning of the song and starts moving to the right as if the song is
playing again.) Remember, there is no SB server a
tay there. The screen won't go to sleep
mode nor stop mode (I got different screen saver for each mode so I
know), it just stay there, with the album art and the details of the
song.

situation, it worked before and now it doesn't. Nothing has been
changed in the server, the only change was the iPeng.
As I said the server has been shut down, only the Touch seems still
playing song. I use the Touch remote to turn off the Touch display.

Vortexbox, the same album arts
are distorted, just like a very low resolution image with a lots of
mosaic noise.
I'm not sure this is related to iPeng, as far as I know the image is
coming from the server. Any idea?

the built-in upgrade function to
install it, I hope iPeng can do the same. I remember I saw someone
mentioned using some SSH to hack into the NAS and put the iPeng into
the plug-in directory of Slimserver, but I can't find it now. Hope
