So I've reinstalled the LMS from scratch and re-added the BBC Sounds
plugin and the problem seems to have disappeared for now. I wonder if
it was something left over from all the complicated PlayHLS and IPlayer
installs that I had to do before BBC Sounds? Anyway, sorry to bother
you all - hopef

Oh yes sorry. I see this with both a Squeezebox Classic and a Duet
receiver.
I can see on the scrubber the full length of the program. Then as it
gets near the end (say -2:50 or something) it sudde

I use this plugin all the time for live and rewound radio - it's
brilliant.
However, I have an intermittent problem when I play programmes from the
schedule in that if I play a programme from the start it sometimes ends
early - several minutes early often. I can restart the programme and as

I was the one with a persistent buffering problem on windows - discussed
a few pages back. Just for information: my iplayer plugin updated to
1.6.2 and since then it's been completely fine - I've even switched to
"no delay" and never get any buffering at all.
Not completely sure why it's fixed

Don't think it's local network - everything else seems to work very
smoothly - and it
I ran some more tests - changed the buffer fullness threshold to 100.
Then I tried 2 minutes delay - the stream was rebuffering every few
seconds. Then set it back to 5 minutes and the stream is more or less
OK - still rebuffering but far less often: once in 30 minutes of
testing.

Mine is probably a rather older processor and i3 not i7 but similar
otherwise.
I get a delay on start (15 sec) but then (at least on my 4 minute
setting) I was gettin

I thought there might be some change to the transcoding pipeline - but
it looks like that's only faad2 so presumably not relevant.

Can I just start by saying how grateful I am to bpa for maintaining the
iPlayer plugin: it makes a huge difference to me, and I'm sure many many
other people.

And at least I'll know to try the Flash AAC next time.

Then, as I said, the WMA seems to be working fine.

Switching to WMA streams seems to fix it, though I've only just started
trying that.
Any suggestions for diagnostics/workarounds/fixes?

PS - Thanks for your efforts: It's a fantastic plugin and dramatically
improves the value of the Squeezebox for me. I seldom use my tuners any

I had already uninstalled Trackstat so I did what you suggested and then
reinstalled Trackstat and reloaded a Trackstat backup.
That seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks.

I can see the download happening in Cache\DownloadedPlugins and it
seems to go to completion before disappearing and then I get the digest
