Ah, you're right. I have to click the three dots, and then more. Doesn't
seem quite so good as having it right there in the album list, but never
mind.
Also spotify now shows up on my android squeeze ctrl app, which it
didn't earlier, so something has changed; maybe a cache somewhere.
It works fine if I switch to the default skin, but when I go back to the
material skin Spotify is missing under each artist. So it's working for
me now by that route. I disabled and re enabled material skin to no
avail.
I tried searching for an answer but without success! I have LMS 8.0 on a
piCorePlayer (6.1). Spotty is available and I can play stuff from
Spotify. The Music library integration plugin is installed too. But
there's no Spotify link when I browse artists, after a reboot or two as
well.

I picked PcP because it looked easy - someone has spent a lot of time
making something that works really nicely. I didn't want to spend days
learning how to use linux. All my previous experience of linux has ended

A manual restart is not an option for my elderly visually impaired
mother
My linux headache gets worse!
I've just spent half an hour trying to set up ngrok autostart on my
picoreplayer to realise that I have a problem because the /etc/systemd
folder does not exist.
I've read the posts now above about using the Tweaks section to start
ngrok, but I have no idea what to
Following on from my earlier posts, I decided to get a Pi to (possibly)
contain music that my elderly parents can listen to by voice. After my
third re-imaging of the Pi I've got that going successfully.
I've copied ngrok onto the pi and given it my authtoken. I have got a
tunnel!

Thanks! I've got it nearly working for testing at home. Now, I don't
have a physical Echo (I've just given it to my mother), but for testing
I have the Amazon/Alexa app on my phone which responds quite nicely.
I asked for a subscription but Alexa on my phone told me I couldn't do

This looks brilliant. I might try it myself, but I'm primarily looking
for something my elderly visually impaired mother can use to play her
classical music collection.
I've recently given her an Echo dot to play with, but results with
classical music are very disappointing with Spotify or

I thought I had, several times! I changed the country code from UK to GB
and it works. Thanks for being so polite about it. It's amazing what
your brain skips over, even when you think you're following all the
steps.
I've just enabled the Youtube plugin, obtained an API key, and pasted
that into the LMS settings page.
Youtube is showing in the menu now, but every option is blank, and
searches do not work. I've messed up somewhere!
Youtube has a page asking me to configure oauth settings, and I had to

I've only just found this plugin, not having updated software in ages.
It looks brilliant - thank you! I've read bits of this thread.. but not
all 90+ pages I'm afraid.
I'm scratching my head a bit over the list of tracks that are in the log
file as not recognised. Sometimes the reason is
. I don't want to spend an afternoon in Audacity saving
copies of multiple tracks at 6 different speeds. I'll probably do that
for now, because I have a Squeezebox boom in the room I practice in,
and it's the best idea so far!

Sometimes I want to play along to music on my sax. As I'm not terribly
good, I usually want to slow it down. There is Windows software that
will do this, but I don't suppose there's a way of doing it through a
Squeezebox?

I tested SCPowerTool on Vista Business. The PC went to sleep, but didn't
wake up. Having woken up, SCPowerTool pops up every hour and says it's
going to shut down in 20 seconds. I assume it'll stop when I reboot!
I'll have another go with it later.

I fully appreciate it's a fair amount of work for someone, so I have no
expectation that anyone'll do it, unless they have much more free time
than I do! But if they did it'd be really useful, and I'd but them a

newest 6.2 version I suppose!
