Same here with Material Skin, although I occasionally use Squeezer as
well.

I read that the code needs serious cleanup because there is a lot of
legacy code present. Let's see how this develops, there are enough
decent remote-app alternatives available already of course. But maybe a
few ideas or features can be used from this code.
That said: It would be nice if the Squ

I have noticed that the last version of pCP that worked properly was pCP
5.0.0. Also the latest version of HifiBerryOS (nov 2021) works properly
when configured as a SB softwareplayer.
Very strange indeed.
I know of course that Ogg/Vorbis can be considered a legacy format, but
currently it is s

Since using approx two weeks I am seeing Spotty errors in my linux
logfiles once a day. Spotty still works, by apparently something is not
100% ok (fyi: gaula is the hostname of the system).
I am running LMS 8.2.0, Spotty v4.6.1 and Xubuntu 21.04. Is this a bug
in Spotty of perhaps LMS?

Today I noticed audible glitches during gapless playback when playing
Ogg/Vorbis files via Win10/Squeezelite-X (latest version) and
HifiBerry/piCoreplayer (latest version, no config adjustments on
Squeezelite). Afaik Squeezelite should support gapless playback, and

I am running the latest version of Squeezelite-X and most of the songs I
play stops approx 30-40 seconds before the end. Sometimes they continue
after a few seconds, sometimes they don't. Manually restarting the song
from the beginning is always possible. It therefore looks like a
buffering issue

Tonight I have configured Spotify Family in LMS, and one of my accounts
is now showing the wrong display name in LMS. The displayname of one of
my kids account is attached to my own account and therefore shown twice.
My own library and playlist are ok.
The issue is confirmed when looking in

Great! Is it somehow possible to keep the notification bar of the device
visible when using this wrapper/app?

I am having troubles when using the Desktop version of Material Skin on
mobile devices in Chrome based browsers (Chrome, Opera, Brave etc.):
The Spotty search box disappears behind the upper parts of the screen
when you start typing. It is impossible to see what you are doing and it
is not possib

Same issue here, I do use Spotty
I think it is a good idea to add "pv" as a recommended package to the
.deb builds of LMS 7.9.
I am not very familiar with .rpm anymore, but assume a similar solution
is possible for .rpm based Linux distributions.

I am using Spotty for a few days now, and most of the time everything
works fine.
Sometimes however Spotty skips a track and moves to the next one when
listening to a full album (that is what I mostly do).
In some cases it is able to re-select the skipped track, but this is not
always possible. I
