OK. Still a squeezelite issue and 1.9.8-1344 is still the latest
version of squeezelite available, so I'll just wait and watch for a

No. Squeezelite-X is a Win32 app as opposed to a Universal Windows
Platform (UWP) app, and XBox cannot run such apps. I have heard rumors

Instead of "Google Artist", it would be "Google %Artist%" which would
show as "Google Bob Dylan" or whatever. Right now it shows as the
literal string, Google %Artist%

I love this app and have been using it for a little while now.
Slightly tongue in cheek suggestion but have you ever considered
learning to program for MacOS? SqueezeliteX is one of the only things I
miss in MacOS. I've gone back to Squeezeplay for the moment which is
fine TBH but Squeezelite-OS

Task Mgr shows 6 processes, but despite killing them it still won't

However if I run Squeezelite X on that same PC it insists on using 12
hour time.
is this a bug or is there a setting I'm missing to change this?

because not playing any music SLX looses the connection to the serve

My soundcard's default format (Windows setting) had somehow been changed
to a sample rate of 48KHz so it couldn't be used, even though exclusive
mode is disabled, and ISTR you saying that squeezelite doesn't return
errors, so I'll just have to try to remember
