Hey Stacey. Great hearing your, uh...voice, if you know what I mean. Sorry
A and I are gonna miss the show tonight but we are headed out of town this
afternoon for much needed rest, relaxation and fun in New Mexico. Hope you
are doing well. I'm even more sorry that I will not see YOU tonight.
Please stop everyone. I'm *so* sorry. I did not intend to start a war
(sorry!) here on P2 about this issue. I should never have posted a response
to Alex on P2, Don's right. It's a very personal and emotional issue for me
and my emotions got the better of my judgement temporarily. There are
Alex,
Sorry to be rude but perhaps it would be a good idea to get your country's
troops out of Kosovo. Milosevic is out of control and the only language the
the man understands is military action. I was recently in Bosnia and
Croatia and saw the lovely aftermath of the Serb's invasion of those
Given the recent traffic here and especially on P1, I'd say the man has a
valid point.

I'm not for a total ban on SUV's. I kinda like the old models, but I'm

Sorry Don, I feel the need to clarify my previous post also. Stick (and
others) have said that it's not the SUVs, its the drivers. Well yes, any
car becomes a dangerous weapon when in the hands of a drunk or bad driver.
However, it IS the SUVs to some degree. These automobiles are so much

Good question. And I'd agree with you that Stalin was indeed worse than
Hitler,
though certainly they're both waaay past that "threshold" you mention. Had

discussion off-list with another P2er awhile back. Hmm.
What in god's name are you talking about? Being There overrated? Oh yea,
those Jason and the Scorchers were the best band ever!

Hello.
I bought a Merle Haggard box set a few months ago and have greatly
enjoyed it. I recently saw in the Globe that he is coming to the Boston
area in a couple of months and am wondering if he is worth going to see.
What do you guys think? Anyone seen him recently? Would I be wasting

Kat - I can't remember exactly (it was in last Sunday's Globe, I
believe) but for some reason I think it's either in Worcester, MA or
Lowell, MA sometime in April. I will look closely at this Sunday's
paper and let you know the details.
Thanks for the ringing endorsement. I will most

Railroad Jerk were supposed to play Providence, RI and Boston, MA two
weeks ago but I heard from some friends who are close to the band that
on the way to the Providence show they were in a pretty bad automobile
accident and were injured. They cancelled both show. That's all I
know.
