booting from Zip SCSI

Any success stories booting from a SCSI external Zip 100? I've made a "rescue disk" for my 1400 using the Iomega utils, which according to some powerbook pages is necessary, but although the drive gets polled briefly on restart, it doesn't boot from the ZIP... All seems terminated fine, the ZIP

If your cable offers a steady thoroughput and doesn't drop off at peak hours, and the DSL isn't really, really close to matching the speed, you probably should just stick with what you have. Once you've had broadband, it's hard to take even a small step back, because you will know the difference.
